EXTENDED DOSING INTERVALS AS A DRIVER FOR IMPROVED SUSTAINABILITY Native GLP-1 has a half-life that is measured in mere minutes6 and, as such, has limited therapeutic relevance without continuous dosing
As well as from poor diet and digestion, vitamin B12 deficiencies can also be affected by a genetic condition such as: o Pernicious anaemia o Crohns disease o Treatment with proton-pump inhibitors o Atrophic gastritis o Coeliac disease o Use of antacids (acid is required to release B12 from food) o Gastrointestinal surgery o Use of certain medications o Use of illegal drugs and substances including nitrous oxide
In phase 1b and 2 studies, pharmacokinetic assessments showed a mean elimination half-life of approximately 6 days, supporting once-weekly dosing and stable steady-state exposure after 46 weeks
