Oil painting by Albert Johan Winther desk chair Base diameter: 10W x 15This painting is by Albert Johan Winther (1913 1972), who is also known by their artist name Wen. The artist was born to Danish parents in Hamburg but lived most of his life in Denmark and was educated by Dutch artist Adriaan van 't Hoff. The choice of colour palette and thick application of paint are typical hallmarks of work by the artist. In many of his works, Wen paints subject matter such as sunflowers, tulips and interiors in a vertical format.
